These are delicious!! Most snacks usually do not have any protein in them or many nutrients but these snacks are very nutritious and because they have a lot of protein and fibre in, they will keep you fuller for longer. Eating protein throughout the day helps supply your body with essential building blocks that it needs to keep strong and healthy,

Vanilla Whey Protein Bliss Balls
Equipment
- 1 Food Processor
Ingredients
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
- 1 tbsp Ground Flaxseeds (Optional. It can make them a bit dry so you may need to add more liquid. I add for the health benefits of flaxseeds, but up to you).
- 30 grams Vanilla Whey Protein Powder I use a Madagascan vanilla organic whey protein powder.
- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter I use crunchy.
- 4-5 Medjool Dates I find that I only need 3 dates as the protein powder offers sweetness - but adapt to your liking.
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
- Pinch of Sea Salt (optional)
- Plant Based Milk This is your choice of milk and the amount will vary depending on consistency.
Instructions
- Place all dry ingredients into the blender and blitz until you have fine breadcrumbs.
- Add your liquid until it clumps together and you can form balls.
- Simply roll into balls!
Notes
These are a great snack as they are high in protein, rich in fibre and antioxidants, and full of natural ingredients!
Not all protein powders are the same... I use an organic whey protein concentrate from The Organic Protein Company which is sweetened with a small amount of unrefined organic coconut sugar and contains organic Bourbon vanilla pods.
