DYNAMIC PILATES

This class is a dynamic and flowing class to energise you for the weekend.  At the heart of the practice is strengthening your core muscles and working your entire body from the foundation of a strong core. PILATES RING WORKOUT

I have designed this class to give you a full body workout and for you to enjoy some wonderful stretches too! This class will incorporate the wonderful Pilates technique and Pilates principles, but with the added benefit of the Pilates Ring.

The Pilates Ring is fantastic to help to help add intensity and wake up your muscles. The Pilates Ring’s resistance speeds up toning by targeting specific muscles. It is especially useful for problem areas like the inner and outer thighs, upper arms, triceps, the chest, core, abs and even the pelvic muscles. You will leave this class feeling worked out, toned, strengthened, stretched and with an increased sense of wellbeing. I will provide levels so there is something for everyone.

PRE & POST NATAL PILATES

This is a special prenatal & postnatal class whereby I hand pick the best of all my pre & post natal training and experience to offer you the best class I can to leave you feeling fantastic and uplifted. I am drawn to teaching pre and post natal women due to the fantastic benefits that pilates  has to offer women at this special time when they are entering into a new phase of their lives.

This Pilates class is specifically designed for your body and mind at this special time and will focus on all the areas that are affected during and post pregnancy (e.g. your posture, spine,  pelvic floor muscles, abdominal muscles, tight muscles, particularly the shoulders, chest and back).  My classes will keep you feeling strong and confident during your pregnancy and help you recover from your pregnancy.  Exercise also makes you feel great due to the release of endorphins and exercising during pregnancy has been shown to have positive effects on your unborn baby too! We will also move with the breath to help calm your system, improve concentration and relaxation and so you leave the class with a feeling of enhanced wellbeing.

These small and friendly mum & baby Pilates classes are aimed for mums with babies up to 1 year of age, ideally before the babies are freely crawling. The class is designed to help you regain your strength and fitness post pregnancy, safely and effectively, by building strength from the inside out. It is really important to exercise in the right way after having a baby. The class will particularly focus on restrengthening your core and pelvic floor muscles and rebuilding strength and tone in your whole body.

You will learn how to safely and effectively exercise your core and abdominal muscles and what to do if you have diastasis or a prolapse.

The class is baby-led and includes some baby yoga moves, which are great for bonding with your baby, and includes your baby into your practise in a fun and enjoyable way for them.

MUM & BABY PILATES

These small and friendly mum & baby Pilates classes are aimed for mums with babies up to 1 year of age or ideally before the babies are freely crawling. The class is designed to help you regain your strength and fitness post pregnancy, with particular focus on the abdominals and pelvic floor muscles. The classes are kept to small groups of so that you get the most out of the sessions. You will learn how to safely and effectively exercise your core and abdominal muscles, without causing or worsening diastasis, and what to do if you have diastasis or a prolapse. When done correctly, Pilates exercises can help your body effectively recover from the strains and stresses of pregnancy.

This class will enable you to bring your baby whilst you ease yourself back into exercise safely, and surround yourself with a support network of women in the same situation as you.

This is a fun, energetic and dynamic class!  It is the perfect fusion of pilates & yoga – combining the best combination of strength and flexibility, to create a balanced strong and flexible body. This class will get your heart rate and energy up with some yoga flow, build strength in your core and abdominal muscles with my most effective and efficient Pilates moves, strengthen and stretch your whole body to enable you to progress and improve your yoga & pilates practice.  You will leave this class feeling energised and with an increased sense of wellbeing.  The class will end with a short relaxation to allow your body to absorb the benefits of the practice and rejuvenated for the rest of your day.
