Detox Boosting Water
I drink this warm tea first thing in the morning every day. It wakes me up, cleanses my palate, is great for my liver and digestive system. It also simply just tastes really good and makes me feel good. Check out the health benefits in my notes. You can drink it throughout the day (just a note that lemon is harsh on your tooth enamel so be mindful of that and either consume with meals, through a straw, or limit to one hit per day). Alternatively, you can omit the lemon if you are concerned about the acids on your teeth or try one of other fresh tea options.
Equipment
- 1 grater (or you can finely slice the ginger)
Ingredients
- 1 thumb size piece of ginger (grated, or finely sliced) (grating the ginger releases more of the flavour and benefits)
- 1 unwaxed lemon
- 2 cups warm/hot filtered water
Instructions
- Simply place the ginger and lemon into a large cup or glass and add the warm water and enjoy! You can top this up with hot water again and have a second cup.
